Aeolian Concertola vs. Wurlitzer Roll Changer
By Dale F. Rowe

Dear Dave, Greetings from The Bronx. In regards to who invented what,
Wurlitzer re-engineered Phillips' roll-changer in that the Phillips is
mounted from the underside of a shelf, whilst Wurlitzer's is mounted on
top of the shelf. The way I understand it, Wurlitzer reversed the
blueprints and patented Phillips basic design as their own.

As to who manufactured the Concertola is anybody's guess. Has anyone
found any maker's marks or stamped information on the device?

Hope this helps, Sincerely,
D.F. Rowe
Bronx, New York
