Bill, I've had on and off success for shipping overseas with the
following options:

1. A cargo carrier that specializes in motorcycles. They have
containers built for such transport.

2. International air passenger carriers. This will require TSA
clearance.

3. Check with commercial, international non-passenger "barges." Many
of them allow a limited number of passengers and private cargo. If the
materials can be classified as a "keyboard" instrument you will save a
great deal of money. Defining "keyframe" would be central.

You will be required to contract with a global shipping agent; cargo
carriers will rarely work with private citizens. If you can pack the
items in shipping cartons, it's feasible a round-trip ticket to your
target location would work. That way you get a mini vacation; take the
more valuable items on board, have the rest go in the cargo bin.

Lastly, bring your wife and toddler son for his first visit overseas.
I recently sold 100 meters of book music to England and the shipping
cost was more than the music. Call if you want to chat. The entire
process is murky.
