Player Pipe Organ Rolls of "Sheherazade"
By Bob Taylor

In MMD 12.09.09 Jason Klinger asked about the availability of
"Scherherazade" on rolls in several formats. I assumed that someone
else would mention the existence of two movements (Two and Three) of
that work in Aeolian 116-note format.

The reason I thought the Aeolian information would be readily
forthcoming is that a wonderful site, "The Organette Music Repository",
has the complete 116-note catalog. That site is found at

  http://www.organettes.com/instruments/aeolian_116/home?do=show

This 116-note resource is only a small portion of a large, well
organized site that is the best on line source for all things related
to organettes.

I have the two rolls, 1141 and 1142, in my collection, but do not
intend to part with them. The third movement, roll 1142, after being
scanned now exists as a fully automatic Duo-Art rendition in my
upgraded MIDI files.
