Orchestrionette on YouTube
By Nicholas Simons

Brian Chesters tells us in yesterday's MMD that he has a Paul Ehrlich
Orchestrionette for sale. As he says, this is one of the rarest of the
early organettes. Before he designed the ubiquitous Ariston, Paul
Ehrlich produced the Orchestrionette and the Non Plus Ultra, both of
which played endless cardboard bands, the design of which made changing
tunes very difficult.

Readers may be interested to see a fully restored Orchestrionette on
YouTube. This can be easily accessed via the Musical Box Society of
Great Britain's website and going to the VIDEOS page:
http://www.mbsgb.org.uk/videos.htm

This page shows a wide variety of instruments owned by our members.
The MBSGB covers all forms of automatic musical instruments, not just
musical boxes, and has a world-wide membership.
