On Facebook Dorothy Young Reiss is reporting that Vic Searle has died:

  "Just received word from Kiyo Watanabe that my dear long-time friend
  Victor Searle passed away in Japan, his adopted country.  A fine
  organist musician, I knew him from my days at OU.  R.I.P."
