Agreed with breaking the seal on recuts.  But what about originals?

I have an Ampico roll with the seal intact that I have always wanted to
hear but won't play because it would break the seal.  You can only
break the seal once and the American Piano Company isn't making any new
rolls.

The chances are good that you can find another copy that has been
opened, if you really want to hear the roll and are willing to look
around for it.  Thoughts?
