Applying Graphite to Wood Surfaces
By Larry Schuette

I have often wondered if there is a better method to apply graphite
to wood slide surfaces. The old directions from PPCo were to first wet
the wood to expand the pores and then rub on the graphite. I seem to
have mixed results on different types of wood. Maybe I am not waiting
long enough to let the water do its job. I would value any suggestions
to help me out with this task.
