Disintegrated Duo-Art Steamboat Pulleys
By John Ross

I have a Weber Duo-Art upright that I am trying to resurrect for my own
use.

My first major problem is the pulley system. The larger pulley has
four channels. The smaller pulley has four channels for the larger
pulley, plus two channels for the motor belts. The pulleys have
disintegrated, a similar problem to the "growing" action brackets on
the Young-Chang grand pianos.

Has anyone gone to the trouble of having someone manufacture new
pulleys? Is there a mechanical drawing available that could be given
to someone to make them?

I am sure there must be others that have run into this problem. So
what are the options that they found as a repair?
