PVC-E vs. Aileen's Tacky Glue

Could someone please explain to me the difference (if there is one)
between the PVC-E glue and "Aileen's Tacky Glue".  I've been under
the impression that "Aileen's" is just a thicker, easier to use version
of PVC-E.
