Seek Durrell Armstrong PPCo Memorabilia
By Dave Krall

Does anyone know what happened to Durrell Armstrong's memorabilia
collection? I'm sure over the years he had amassed a considerable
amount of historical material including photographs. I have several
photos of the USA Welte Philharmonic pipe organ recording machine that
I have traced back as having come from Durrell. I also believe I know
where Durrell got the photos and I am pursuing that lead.

Along with the recording machine (the remains of which are now at the
museum in Switzerland) Durrell also owned the USA Welte Philharmonic
perforator and I suspect he may have had photos (which would have come
from the same source) showing the perforator in its original condition.
Hence, I would like to find out who now has Durrell's collection to
ascertain if there are perforator photos there. Can anyone help with
this? Provide any leads?

Also, does anyone have a copy of the catalog from the Player Piano
Company auction showing all the lot numbers and descriptions?

Thanks,
Dave Krall
