Valve Clearance Setting

Valve clearance may well depend upon the climate in which the
instrument will reside.  If you set the clearance in a dry climate,
and the instrument lives in a damp climate, it will change the
clearance and will no longer function optimally.

I have never seen recommendations below .032" nor higher than .047",
but there may well be others with different views.
