FS: Working Upright Player Piano in Maine
By Mike Knudsen

A friend here in Mid-Coast Maine has a nice small upright player for
sale, that belonged to her recently deceased other in law. It was made
by "Crippen" in New York State. Does anyone know anything about that
company?

I haven't seen it, but it has been rebuilt and plays either from
pedal pumping or electric suction built in as a retrofit. I don't
know whether it has sustaining pedal or any extra expression controls.

The family wants close to $1000 for it, or at least the $500 it cost
to move it out of the deceased woman's house. I believe this piano
is worth that as a _working, rebuilt_ player.

On anyone's request, I will try to get access to it and check it out
thoroughly and answer any further questions. I would take it myself,
but we will downsize our home in a couple years.
