Splicing a Round Leather Belt
By Jim Lowell

To make new round leather belts I got a pair of belting pliers from
McMaster-Carr (and originally from PPCo). They cut the belting and
also punch the holes in both ends and properly bend the little wire
clips into place when the belt ends are fastened together. So there's
nothing to it and the belts don't click.
