Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum Perforators
By Carl Zwanzig

I had the pleasure of visiting the Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum
about a year and a half ago when I was in Buffalo for another event.
On a whim, I rang up the museum a few days before I arrived to ask
about the perforators. Less than an hour later, they called back to
say that, while it wasn't one of Doug Hershberger's usual days to be
there, he'd be glad to come in and show me the equipment. I spent a
happy, oh, five hours looking at the equipment and talking about the
whole roll business. Doug even invited me to his house to hear some of
his instruments.

If you're ever close to the area, give them a call and make a visit.

Side note: I have a pile of pictures, probably 40-50, of the perforator
and related equipment but no good place to put them. Would they fit
well in the MMD tech gallery? I can resize and label them as needed.
