[ Ref. 131227 MMD, "Silicone Grease for Treating Pouches"

I cannot remember recommending using Dow Corning 111 silicone grease
for coating pouches.  When you use a grease that fills the pores and
then the vacuum increases to a higher point, well, the plug pulls out
and the leak is back again.

I have been using Dow Corning 3140 RTV coating for years now, with no
problems.  If anyone would like a sample of leather treated this way,
