B.A.B. Artizan North Tonawanda 48-key Rolls
By Matthew Caulfield

I hear that the B.A.B. roll perforator owned by Ed Openshaw, of
Rumney, New Hampshire, is in bad shape and will probably never be
gotten up and running again, unless someone with good mechanical and
metalworking skills purchases it and restores it.

Ed's Wurlitzer 165 band organ that used to play on Ross Davis'
carousels in Griffith Park and Lincoln Park in Los Angeles, Calif.,
was recently purchased by Glenn Thomas, of Belle Mead, New Jersey, and
is now being put back into top shape by Ed's restorer, Joe Hilferty,
of York, Pennsylvania. So there is hope, albeit a slim one, unless
the perforator finds a new owner.
