"Best" & "Victoria" Piano Rolls Made in Spain
By Horacio Asborno

Hi MMDers! I'm a roll collector for many years. Among my first rolls
were "Best" and "Victoria", both made in Spain. The first is a brand
which was very well sold (and common) here in Argentina, also in
Uruguay and of course in Spain.

Some of the spool ends have some letters like "J.B.B.L.G." I didn't
know what they mean until today, when I was reading on-line: "How the
rolls were made" (in Spain). Well, the letters mean "Joan Baptista
Blancafort - La Garriga".

Did you know that?!
