Ron Brewer, Instrument Mover
By Dave Bowers

Ron Brewer is 100% first class and wonderful in the moving of automatic
musical instruments, and I have used him multiple times.

Dwight Porter of Randolph, Vermont, similarly is deserving of accolades.
He has restored many cylinder and disc music boxes for me, including
those that had been "restored" by others. He is always able to bring
out the "hidden sound" of music boxes. My Symphonion Eroica, formerly
the property of Paul Lochmann, the founder of Symphonion, now fills the
room with beautiful sound. A Fortuna/Adler orchestrion circa 1900,
from a leading collection and "restored," is now under true restoration
on its way to magnificence. Collectors from all over the world find it
worthwhile to have him realize their instruments' true potential. (Full
disclosure: I have no commercial connection with Dwight, but am a very
happy client).

Based on a lot of experience, I heartily recommend Ron Brewer as a
careful mover and Dwight Porter as an unsurpassed restorer (of disc
and cylinder music boxes).
