Hi Folks,  My impression of the tune played by David Smaits' manivelle
musical box is "Voyez Sur Cette Roche", from "Fra Diavolo" by Auber
(died 1871).  The title is usually translated as "On Yonder Rock."

The tune appears on many musical boxes.  I first encountered it during
piano lessons in the 1940s.
