Hi Group, A couple of comments on Tony Marsico's post on the removal
of the Dou-Art system [140522 MMDigest].  As to Pianocorders, yes,
I own a Pianocorder Vorsetzer that is playing and I have access to
a former Marantz technician who has parts.

I own a stock Model T Ford but another member of the Model T Ford Club
has a T sedan with a Chevy 350 engine in it.  It has been described as
having everything in it except a Model T.  Not my 'cup of tea', as he
goes down the road in his Fordrolet.

I have seen several Victrola and Sonora console phonographs that have
had the mechanisms removed and a modern turntable and amplifier
installed.  I have also been asked if I could turn down my band organ.

I like things the way they were built. If they worked then they should
be able to work now.
