I have two disc musical boxes that require endless screw replacement.
In both cases, I can supply an endless screw to be used as a template
for machining a new one.  I am in the UK, but would be prepared to send
parts internationally if anyone can suggest the best way forward.  I
have tried local model engineers, but it seems to be that they don't
have the specialist tools to do the job accurately.

Can anyone suggest a solution?

PS: Jody, I have stopped receiving the MMD. Do you know why?

  [ I've done some homework and determined that the reason for Matthew
  [ not getting his Digest is different from the problem that caused
  [ Mark's to not show up.   Mark's problem is that his subscription
  [ record was marked as "self-unsubscribed" but I also know that he
  [ didn't unsubscribe.   I've turned his subscription back on.  This
  [ isn't the first time someone has reported a problem like this and I
  [ think it's some kind of software glitch in the subscription software.
  [ Matthew's problem is different.  The Digest was sent.  It just
  [ didn't show up.   I'll keep an eye on the problem now that I am
  [ aware of it.   --Jody
