I am planning to restore an early 1920s Seeburg Model E that is missing
the xylophone and I would like to add one.  It does not need to be an
exact replacement.  The options I have seem to be:

1. purchase a new one from Ragtime West (very costly);
2. buy an old unit and rebuild it;
3. buy a marimba or Glockenspiel and construct a new unit.

My preference would be to rebuild an old unit but I don't mind building
one from scratch.  Does anyone have one to sell?  Any other advice?
Any other options?

 [ hard wood that "rings like a bell" when it's struck!  It's easy to
 [ tune using your old Conn Strobotuner with the spinning strobe discs.
