We have a small MIDI organ with 20 pipes, 9 glockenspiel notes, and
3 "drum" notes.  This summer I have been playing some old stuff
(Mozart through Sousa and old Wurlitzer roll adaptations) but also some
"new" music.  At Conneaut Lake Amusement Park the kid who was stuck
running a joint (arcade game) with no customers across from me got up
and danced when I played adaptations of Beatles and Elton John tunes.

At Olcott Beach it was a pleasure to see a young, well dressed woman
smile as her very small children danced to similar music.  Most
teenagers respond positively to "YMCA" [ca. 1980].  To most folks,
this stuff is "old music."  It's as old as the music of Glenn Miller
was when most of us were young.

And Beatles tunes on a crank organ tends to amaze most people.
