For Trade: Stella Grand Music Box in Nebraska
By Gary Heckman

For trade: I have a 1900 Stella "Grand" music box with twenty-four
17-1/4-inch discs. The console cabinet, with storage for discs below,
was produced by Mermod Freres in Switzerland and the music mechanisms
were often imported into the country where the cabinet was made. The
small tin box with a pad to oil the discs is included. A photograph
can be found in "The Encyclopedia of Automatic Musical Instruments" by
Q. David Bowers.

I would like to trade this music box and discs for a complete Edison
mahogany "Opera" cylinder phonograph. The music box is located in
Lincoln, Nebraska. Photos are available. Contact Gary L. Heckman at
tel.: 1-402-477-7875 or glheckman@juno.com.geentroep [delete ".geentroep"
to reply].

Thank you!
Gary L. Heckman
