Refinishing Seeburg Coin Piano Components
By Don Teach

Years ago Minwax used to make a product in Lexington Green that was a
great match to the old Seeburg color. This could be rubbed on the bare
wood. After it was dry (usually a couple of days here in the South)
then you could spray shellac over it to seal the wood.

The black is a satin black. It is not gloss and it is not flat black.
Satin black is hard to find but that is the original finish. Peavey
makes a touch-up paint for their speaker cabinets that matches it
perfectly.

Your local music store that is an authorized Peavey dealer can order
this paint for you. Support your local music store while you still
have one.
