H. C. Bay Player Piano Tempo Control Problem

If the vacuum control pneumatic is okay then there is a restriction in
the Tempo control chamber.  Look for debris, possibly a chunk of gasket
material.  Check to ensure the control rod is properly attached to the
internal valve system and everything operates freely.

I have seen where the slide valve was frozen in the closed position and
the control rod moved freely, due to rotted leather attachment nuts.
