Large Barrel Organs by Eugene DeKleist
By Gordon Ramsey

Does anyone have reliable data about the number of keys in the chest
of the Mammoth and Monster organs? The organ that was at Joyland Park
in Wichita, Kansas, is often called a Mammoth, but I think that the
main chest is different, and was one of the Eugene DeKleist barrel
organs, which I have not been able to research very well.

In the Joyland Park organ, you can see where the barrel was mounted
and the chest has 100 channels. There is also one blank, so it could
have been 101 total. I know that the case was like a Monster before
modification, but the chassis and main chest seem to be unique. Does
anyone have info on the scales used by the DeKleist barrel organs?
