Seek Gulbransen 4-Tier Stack
By Bruce Mercer

I'm looking for either a complete 4-tier upper Gulbransen stack for
my Mueller & Haines player piano, which appears to be from 1914 when
this stack was introduced. These are screw-on pneumatic/valve units
with a green paper gasket.

I would be happy just to have a set of pneumatics as the rest of my
upper stack is fine but the pneumatic/valve units were rebuilt at one
time using Elmer's glue and Perflex pouches (not me). Getting these
things apart is a nightmare.

This was the first player I owned and it played well on original
materials when I first bought it and sold it to put money toward
a reproducer. About 45 years later it surfaced again with a customer
that had a Baldwin they wanted me to rebuild. It was to be hauled
away to the dump and of course I just couldn't say no, so I'm hoping
someone can help me. Many thanks.
