Musical Box Tune Sheet Graphics
By Dave Corkrum

Hello Craig, In response to your question, first, I do not know how
the disc manufacturers produced the graphics and other illustrations
on their discs. I suspect they used a linoleum block which they carved
and then inked and printed on the discs. Later, they probably used
another linoleum block to print the title, catalog number, and composer.

For myself, I silk-screen the graphics on the disc. However, due to
space limitations, the title, number, and composer are printed using
rub-on labels. If I had the space and time, I would create a single
silk screen for each title. Since I only make discs for Polyphon in
the 19-5/8", 22" and 24-1/2-inch size, and Polyphon's titles are used
across these three sizes, I could make a screen for each title and add
the additional number with a separate screen.

I am sorry I cannot be of more help.
