Restoring Disc Labels

Electronics enthusiasts have been using a technique that allows
transfer of toner from laser printed paper to copper.  They then etch
the copper to make a printed circuit board.  Ignoring the etching part,
this technique might work when restoring labels for metal discs.

A photo of the original label or a redrawn label is reversed and then
printed to paper.  The paper is then placed on the metal disc and
heated with a common electric flatiron to transfer the toner to the
metal disc. More information can be found here:
