Restoring Euphonion Disc Labels
By Stuart Horton

The original Euphonion discs are trademark printed in two stages;
the first is a bronze powder ink, followed by a black ink to give
the picture effects.

I was thinking I could separate out the bronze backing from the black
in the digital reconstruction, and have a rubber stamp made of the
black ink image. By making a stencil of the bronze image, I could
spray paint the image onto the disc using 24-kt gold spray paint and
then use the rubber stamp to apply the black image.

I plan to seal the metal discs after cleaning with a clear lacquer
then apply the printing. Any ideas or suggestions?
