The first and only time I met Mr. Babit was at the AMICA convention
in 2008.  I have to say that I enjoyed his piano playing very much.
Yes, indeed, he was a very friendly person, and I was very happy to
have met him.

I am also thankful that he was kind enough to sign the plate of the
piano he was playing.  That piano just happened to be mine.  May it
remain as a memorial to the fine piano artist that he was.
