Thank you to all who responded.  I am going with the 28-note
range.  As a child, I was awestruck by a Nelson-Wiggen 4X piano at
the Buffalo Ranch in Oklahoma and I have always thought that they had
the best sound; hope mine can measure up.  I make my own xylophone
and marimba bars.
