Voicing Gavioli Brass Saxophone Pipes
By D. L. Bullock

Check out the video of my friend Cory voicing a set of new reed tongues
for a pre-1900 Gavioli band organ. This is a set of brass Saxophones
that were black with age and tarnish and with 3-coat painted wooden
blocks. The rank has been restored, the brass polished and lacquered,
the blocks stripped, prepped, primed, and lacquered in gloss black.
The French shallots are original, new wedges and the tongues are brand
new and getting their first curve in this video.
