Rubber Tire for Seeburg Friction Drive Wheel
By John J. Breen

Joseph Osborne asked for a source for a new rubber tire for
a Seeburg friction drive on a Seeburg E. When I needed to replace
the rubber tire on my KT-Special, I bought part MS28775-435 from
O-Rings, Inc. ( http://www.oringsusa.com/ ). This part is listed
as 5.75" ID x 6.25" OD x .25" wide. It worked fine on my machine
and appeared to match exactly the one that had failed.

If the Seeburg E indeed needs a 3/8" diameter o-ring, I would recommend
buying that stock and making an o-ring by attaching the ends together
with a cyano adhesive ["super glue"]. If making one is the route
chosen, be careful not to buy silicone-based stock as that will not
adhere properly. Another source for the stock would be McMaster-Carr.
