The carillon rolls in the Condon collection now at Stanford came
from the carillon installed at Sydney University.  It was an Aeolian
installation, as was the Bathurst carillon.  I purchased the duo pumps
from the Bathurst installation during the 1980s, an interesting
exercise as the local Council did not know what to charge me.

The Sydney university carillon is a rather sad case.  Much of the
mechanics resides at the Powerhouse Museum in Sydney, itself now
subject to financial constraints, with the musical instruments curator
now sacked.

The pumps and rolls from the Sydney carillon were obtained by Denis
Condon when the instrument was decommissioned in the 1980s.  Prior to
that, the carillonist (if that is the  correct term for a person who
plays a carillon) used to stay with Denis, herself living in Canberra
which has a large, still functional carillon.  The rolls are therefore
probably Aeolian rolls, but there is no indication on the rolls.
