26" Stella Disc Movement in Horizontal Case
By Jim Weir

Back in the 1970s I restored a badly damaged 26" Stella disc music
box belonging to the late Bruce Devine. It was originally in an
upright case but had been fitted into a large, freestanding rosewood
case allowing the disc to lie flat.

Does anyone know what happened to this machine? After restoration,
while it was still in the workshop, we had a multi-channel studio
recording made and mixed down to two-channel master-tape. (It was
easier to get the recording made in the workshop than try to move
the case to the studio.)

Now we're moving house and we have a large number of cassette tapes
copied from the studio master tape that are available free plus
postage to anyone who wants one. For details contact
