Unknown Rotary Vacuum Pump Is Early Ampico

A Stoddard Ampico pump?  Yet it has identical mechanical parts and
valves to Duo-Art rotary pumps, and they weren't introduced 'til the
early 1920s.

Could these pumps or parts be from a third party supplier?  Or is it
a replacement hybrid?
