Hi all,  Ken Vinen mentioned recently that QRS' "Q" Series of rolls
contain the original roll arrangement without any changes made.
Unfortunately, that is not quite correct.  In the 1973 QRS Catalog, it
says in fine print just above the word "Vault" in the section entitled
"Collectors Celebrity Vault" which contains rolls in the "Q" series:

  "The original rolls from which these reissues were remastered are
  collector's items commanding from $30 to $100 at auction."

So it looks as if QRS did do some editing of the "Q" series rolls to
make them more palatable to the current listener.
