Hi all.  When I did my first stack rebuild in 1967 I realized that
there had to be a way to easily cover all those pneumatics.  I measured
the span (the distance across the fully-opened "V" of the pneumatic
before removing the old cloth) and the distance around all four sides.
Those measurements also are the dimensions of the pneumatic cloth.

On a piece of wood 1"x6" or so I nailed two blocks to match the length
of the strip.  With a little experimentation I found the point where,
with one end of the cloth against one of the blocks, the cloth would
cover three sides of the pneumatic.  Marking this point I then put on
two side blocks for the span.

Then you just lay the cloth into the jig, apply glue to the boards,
spread between the span blocks and apply the cloth.  A little trick
I learned from Bill Kap is to slather the glue on the hinge end, press
the first end of the strip onto the hinge, immediately lift it and
press the second end down and press the (now glue-coated) first end
back down.
