Passing of Art Sanders, Deansboro, New York
By Michael Woolf
Many years ago I had the pleasure of visiting Art at the Musical
Museum. It was winter and Harvey Roehl and I drove from Vestal, New
York, to Deansboro in a blizzard. I was thrilled to experience the
Museum and was delighted to meet Art and talk with him.
I asked Harvey if he thought Art was able to earn a living from the
venture and he replied "subsistence." Art made us welcome and despite
the cold temperature we had a great time. I have many happy memories
as I recall the day. Art will be sadly missed.
