 "It is with deepest sorrow that we have to report the passing of
  Ralph Schack on July 29.  Ralph survived a serious surgery about
  two weeks ago and seemed to be recovering well.  However, it would
  appear that complications developed so suddenly that he was not
  able to sustain his life.

 "Ralph's lifetime contribution to the Musical Box Society
  International and many other civic organizations was truly
  outstanding, and he will be greatly missed.

 "The service will be Sunday, August 2, at 10:00 a.m., at Temple
  Beth El, 1435 W 7th St., San Pedro, Calif.  Internment follows
  at Green Hills Memorial Park, 27501 S. Western Ave, Rancho Palos
  Verdes, Calif."
