Many of us will be deeply affected by the passing of Ralph Schack.
As a stalwart of MBSI and its Southern California Chapter his presence
will surely be sorely missed.  Similarly, the Musical Box Society of
Great Britain has lost not only a longstanding member but a good
friend.

Likewise, the world of mechanical music has lost a great champion.
The saying about 'standing on the shoulders of giants' comes to mind,
and we should all be inspired by his memory to carry on the good work
to which he selflessly gave so much of his time.

Our thoughts and sympathy go to those who were close to him.
