Dear Robbie and Jody,

Although I am not an active author of the MMD society, I read every
day the Digests, with much pleasure.  Some four years ago I got
interested in player pianos and became regular reader of your
Digest, and since last year I am the proud owner of a player piano
(W. Biese, Berlin, year unknown).  Lots of work will have to be
done on her.  I frequently make use of the knowledge gathered in
your Archives; I also listen carefully to the meaningful remarks
made by many authors.

I realise it takes lots of energy and time from both of you to
maintain this website; I am very grateful therefore.   Also being
realistic, I understand that at some moment people have to stop with
their activities.  I sincerely hope you will, at that time, have
successors in this work -- it forms such a valuable part in the lives
of many people (including mine).  Perhaps setting up a subscription
for readers might help a little (in the financial aspect anyway)?

In the meantime, thank you both for your involvement -- please go on
with the good works!
