Dyrehavsbakken Fairground Organ
By Matthew Caulfield

Does anyone know whether the fairground organ that was at
Dyrehavsbakken, the world's oldest amusement park, about 10 km.
(6 miles) north of Copenhagen, Denmark, is still there and what its
state is?

Dyrehavsbakken means Deer Park Hill and the park is most often called
Bakken (The Hill) by the Danes. It has been run by the Stefansen
family for generations, The Brødrene Stefansen (Stefansen Brothers)
name appears on the crest of the organ in the attached picture, taken
about forty years ago.
