Old Crank Reed Organ is Kalliston Organette
By Nicholas Simons

[ Ref. Frank Chadwick in 151109 MMDigest --

The photos of the bust-up old reed organ are of a Kalliston. This is
a very rare organette that plays endless zinc bands that circumnavigate
the entire instrument. If the keyframe has 28 keys I think it may be
the Kalliston Model AGS, which has 24 playing notes and 4 un-tuned
bells. It is certainly worth keeping and may well be of interest to
a collector or restorer of organettes.
