Unknown Tunes on Freyer "A" Roll 106X
By Mike Walter

Hi all, I recently acquired an "A" roll that had been produced by Eddie
Freyer back in 1966. The roll number is 106X. It is a nine-tune roll
and when I acquired it there were only four tunes listed on the label.
Matt Jaro was able to supply another two titles, but that still leaves
three tunes unknown. Can anyone else fill in the missing titles?
Here's what I have:

1. It's Tight Like That 1928 (Thomas A. Dorsey - comp) Blues
2. Brown Skin Mama 1929 (James Blythe - comp) Blues
3.
4. South Side Stomp 1928 (James Blythe - comp) Stomp
5.
6. Make Me A Pallet On The Floor 1917 (W. C. Handy - comp) Blues /
   Atlanta Blues 1924 (W. C. Handy - comp) Blues
7. Original Charleston Strut 1923 (Thomas Morris) Fox Trot
8. Deep Elm, You Tell 'Em I'm Blue 1922 (Willard Robison) Blues
9.

Thanks so very much for your help!

Best wishes,
Mike Walter
