Seek Mills AC/DC Rotary Converter Repair
By Jim Quashnock

The run winding on my Mills-Sandell converter for a Violano is toast.
All other parameters and parts seem to be in excellent condition.
Does anyone out there rewind these motors for a reasonable price?

Much of what I've read indicates that I should just leave the motor
in the cabinet as a static display, and install a solid state 120 vdc
power supply behind it. I have no problem with this. I'm just
wondering if there would be more value in the instrument should the
converter actually be working.
