Tracker Bar Pump Vs. Vacuum Cleaner
By Luke Myers

I must say that the tracker bar pump I received today via an eBay
seller beats the vacuum cleaner hands down. I had sucked out "some"
of the debris in the tracker bar hoses with a vacuum cleaner, but there
was still quite a bit in there.

This afternoon I tried the tracker bar pump. Boy oh boy did that pump
get the dirt out of those hoses! I was amazed at how effective the
tool was. Several notes became more responsive immediately after the
process. As far as I'm concerned, I won't be using a vacuum cleaner
for that job anymore.

[ The tracker bar suction pump is a positive displacement pump much
[ like the exhauster bellows (electric- or foot-powered) of your
[ player piano. If you reverse the valve in the tracker bar pump,
[ to convert it to a pressure pump, you will be able to pump up an
[ automobile tire, which is difficult using a turbine blower such as
[ in a household vacuum cleaner. -- Robbie
