Wurlitzer Theater Organ For Sale or Donation
By Jack Hardman

Hi Jody, We are actively searching for the next home for our Wurlitzer
theater organ and I am wondering if there is an appropriate way to take
advantage of the geographic diversity and number of your MMD members
to help me. The organ is described at http://hardmanwurlitzer.com/

This recently restored 4/38 Wurlitzer theater organ is available for
sale or donation to a responsible tax-exempt organization having an
appropriate acoustical environment where it can be seen, played, and
heard in concert on a regular basis, and where proper security, long
term care and maintenance are assured.

Can you suggest an appropriate space in your area that we should
consider? A few examples include a civic or school auditorium,
performing arts center, church, concert hall, maybe a movie theater.
Location and timing are not critical. We welcome your thoughts and
ideas and would like to hear from you. Please contact Jack Hardman
with your ideas for a suitable venue for this beautiful concert-ready
historic instrument.

My thanks and best wishes,

Jack Hardman

[ Jack has been a participant in MMD discussions since 1995. His
[ interest in air-operated devices is mentioned in a message he
[ sent us in 1998 where he talked about the Horn & Whistle Enthusiasts
[ group he founded in 1982. I shouldn't be surprised that he and I
[ share a mutual interest in theater organs.
 [
[ I hope someone can help Jack find a home for instrument referenced
[ in his message above. --Jody
